the twin room was a bit cold since the windows didn't fit properly, I expected a heater, which they did provide, but it felt like a last minute gesture. Also, the WiFi was so patchy you'd think we were in the middle of nowhere. almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

Had a great time at Samanapaq! The gardens were beautiful, breakfast was tasty, and Tula, the host, gave awesome tips for exploring Ollantaytambo. Just a heads up, rooms can be a bit chilly at night, but it’s all part of the charm!

Hotel Samanapaq is a beautiful oasis in Ollantaytambo. The garden views are stunning, creating a picturesque setting for morning coffee. Tula, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and offers great recommendations for local hikes and restaurants. Our family room was spacious, with comfortable beds and cozy comforters. The grounds are extensive, providing a perfect space for children to explore safely. Additionally, the hotel's location allows for easy access to the main square within a short walk. However, the morning breakfast was a bit simple, and the WiFi didn’t work well in our room, which was a downside. Also, the rooms can get chilly at night due to the lack of adequate heating, so a portable heater makes a significant difference during the colder months. Overall, the good outweighs the bad, making it a lovely place to stay in Ollantaytambo.
